We don’t mean to brag, but myQuarterly isn’t your standard accountancy firm

(Ok, maybe we do mean to brag…just a bit?)

After many years of tearing his hair out in larger, more traditional accounting firms, where actual conversations with clients weren’t exactly encouraged, Sam wanted to create a space where we could help people make decisions that actually move them towards their big picture.

You can think of us as more of a sounding board for any financial questions you might have, or a partner for your business finances.

We’re basically like Amy Poehler in Mean Girls, if you replace ‘not a regular mom’ with ‘not a regular accountant’.

Our approach centres on three things:

  • A core part of our approach is communication. This means whenever you have a question, query or concern, you can send us a Whatsapp – voicenotes welcome – and we’ll get back to you with all the info you need.

  • Another central part of our approach is our quarterly reports, which is where our name comes from. We collate all of your business data and explain what’s happening in a jargon-free, visual report (with optional video call) so that you’re always up-to-date.

  • Your business should support and enable your lifestyle, whatever you want it to look like – so we take that into consideration too. As much as you’re happy to share, we want to know any big decisions or milestones, so that we can help you facilitate that.

Meet the (money)makers

As a husband-and-wife duo, work-life balance is something we prioritise for ourselves too (because we’ve gotta practice what we preach, haven’t we?)

Our founder and resident numbers guy (that’s what those letters on the end of his name mean). He combines his logical mindset with deep care for clients, helping them maximise their business’ potential to give them the freedom they deserve outside of work.

This means he also LOVES a system, so he’s forever squirrelling with software and tinkering with tech to make your admin life easier. When he’s not working, he’s often found rock climbing, playing live music, or deep diving into the 90s Japanese car scene.

In her previous career as an NHS clinician, Natalie spent a lot of her time as the intermediary between surgeons and patients, taking technical medical speak and explaining what it meant in real terms for the patients (if you can guess what she specialised in, you get a prize. The prize is pride, but it’s still worth a go, right?)

During the pandemic, she realised she needed more autonomy in her life, and retrained to become the pink half of myQuarterly. When she’s not working, she’s finding inspiration on Pinterest and Vinted, and seaswimming (all year round).
